Expected conditions for January 24th and 25th

Another week and more questions about the snow on Mt Pinos.

To reiterate, we do not have people checking the conditions during the week. All we can do is consider last weekend’s conditions, look at the weather forecast, and then guess.

There was better than expected coverage last weekend, this week has turned cooler so melting will be slower than last week. There is a slight chance of snow tomorrow but no new accumulation is expected. That means it is very likely that the road will be open.

We think there will be enough snow on the upper mountain for snowshoeing and skiing as well as for snow play.
